Salad Bar Lettuce

When we were little kids and had restless, sleepless nights, my gramma would draw us a warm bath, steep fresh lettuce and in it we would soak for a bit of time. I'm not sure if it was the warm water or the lettuce leaves, but we always slept soundly.
